L’Internationale Online’s Opinions section aims to be a forum for discussion concerned with the practice of contemporary politics and ideas in relation to contemporary art and the culture field. It includes new writing and visual essays by academics and practitioners, statements by culture workers, research essays and interviews that are responsive to current debates in institutional and related art practices.

As well as a contribution to current debates on contemporary art, the Opinions section allows new debates to emerge, based on the premise that the contemporary cannot be understood without a self-reflexive knowledge of relationality to archival and museology politics. L’Internationale Online also works with artists and other scholars to produce original visual essays.

The views and opinions published in this section mirror the principles of academic freedom and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of the L'Internationale confederation and its members.
